Sally-Ann Louise Turner is an intuitive multimedia artist whose artistic practice centres around Automatism. This meditative approach enables the artist to connect to the finer, unseen vibrations of the unconscious.

 

Having enjoyed previous careers in education and banking, Turner brings plenty of lived experience into her art. 

 

With a body of work that ranges from huge scale oil paintings through to intimate pencil drawings, her work aims to articulate concerns of the human condition, our place in the world and our connectivity to all other living things.

he wild animal series is a departure into a more figurative style, with the intention that the direct gaze of the subject can somehow alter the skewed perception that they are 'other than' or "lesser than' ourselves.

 

A collection of her digital drawings has been produced into a book.
