Borders - or lack thereof - have come to be a defining element across each individual artist's practice, whether physically, geographically, metaphorically, psychologically or emotionally.

Located on the cusp of London, students living and studying at the Hertfordshire occupy a curiously liminal space where they are neither fully in nor fully out. Our practices often permeate each other, the boundaries between works subtly blurred at times as themes and processes mingle with one another.

The works in this show stand at the precipice of something ambiguous and unsettled. It teeters on the threshold of the future. The overall result is a state of constant shifting and unrest in not only the individual works but also within the artists themselves. Things feel untamed yet precise; bold yet reticent; fixed yet moving, a permanently fluctuating amalgamation of stories, identities and concepts.
